Hi Eugene,
Did I send you an email?
Good evening Sir. I am just a Migrant Worker here in South Korea. Is it possible for me to Petition even if I am not a resident of South Korea? Thank you & GOD BLESS!
You do not need to be a resident to join a lodge in Korea, however you should be here on some sort of visa.
Thank you very much for your reply Sir. On what occasion or time would one can Petition for a particular Lodge in South Korea?
No time like the present! As you see, on the “Lodges” page there are a few different lodges to choose from. Simply email one of them regarding your interest and they should reply (hopefully!) within a week.
Thank you again for the reply Sir. You are of GREAT HELP! More POWER to you & to your blog. GODSPEED!

Hi, I have interest about Freemasonry but i’m not intend to join this club.
i have some question for you
please answer me lol sorry about my bad English..
1. There’s any relationship between Freemasonry and Jacques Demolay society?
2. ‘Symbol’ is important for Freemason?
2. ‘심볼(상징)’은 프리메이슨들이 중요하게 여기는 요소인가요?
3. May I ask what your degree in Freemasonry? If you can’t, do not say. it’s ok
last question!
5. Do you accept(agree) one of the most famous guy and well-known president is or was member of Freemasonry? ex) Obama, Bush, Truman, Ford, Conan Doyle etc..
Thank you for answer my question 🙂
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Joshua 1:9-
GOD Bless you.
Hi there, thanks so much for putting your questions in English! It can be a real headache sometimes when trying to translate since my Korean language skills are so horrible..
1. The Order of De Molay is a youth organization that is modeled after Freemasonry for boys aged 12-21, usually sponsored by a Masonic Lodge.
2. Symbolism is rather important for Freemasonry. We use the tools that the ancient stonemasons used as symbols in lessons about morality.
3. I’m a Master Mason. That’s the 3rd degree. I’m also a Royal Arch Mason. That’s up the York Rite (branch). Soon I’ll become a Scottish Rite Mason and get my 32nd degree.
4. Oh dear.. there doesn’t appear to be a question 4.. haha.
5. Obama and Bush certainly aren’t confirmed Freemasons. Truman, Ford and Arthur Conan Doyle are. You can look up confirmed Freemasons on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Freemasons
Thank you for your questions 🙂
God bless. ^^
Sir, how can I join Freemasons brother party???
Hello, please check the lodges page for the contact information for the Han Yang Lodge in Seoul.

Join possiable?
I sent you an email.
Hello? My name is Kyu-hyeon
21 years old
Live in Kimhae
Near Busan
I am a student now
I want to know this group and to join here.
Send me a message to my email
I have sent you an email.
I am curious about freemasonry. I’ve never joined. I once visited a lodge in Texas. The guys seemed friendly, and I once had a classmate years back who was a freemason and was nice, and he invited me to see a masonic parade in Montreal. It might be hard for me to go to a meeting unless it’s on a Saturday because I don’t live in Seoul. How long are the meetings, generally?
The meetings generally run around a couple of hours. You know, the lodge in Busan meets once a month on a Saturday. A lot of brethren who can’t attend meetings on weeknights usually travel down on the KTX once a month to go there instead. It’s a great alternative.
Hi my name is kichur nam

I would love to study some more Korean. Unfortunately what with work, lodge and personal relationships I don’t have much time for other things. There are several Korean speaking Freemasons in this country who I can get you in contact with if you like.
Hi, thanks for your comment.
Membership in Freemasonry is open to any man provided he can meet a few essential conditions, such as:
-He must be a man of good morals and at least 21 years old (Western age).
-He must believe in a Supreme Being.
-He must be a peaceful and law-abiding citizen.
-He must have a desire to improve himself and his community.
Members need to pay a yearly test fee or subscription in order to be in good standing with their respective lodges. The dues vary in amount depending on the lodge.
Also, the number of meetings per month depend on the lodge as well. For example, the lodges in Seoul and Pyeongtaek meet twice a month, while the one in Busan only meets once a month.
As for what we do in the public, we build communities and do various charity works. For example, check out this video of us from last year:
Thanks for you comment.

If I haven’t sent you an email yet, I will be sure to do so.
I’m not exactly sure about the cost of joining the Busan Lodge but if you check the Lodges page there should be some contact information there you can use and ask them.

Good day! I’m a filipina and a wife of a mason in the Philippines. I am also a member of the Order of the Amaranth, an appendant body of the freemasonry. I’m here now in Jeonju for an official travel for 3 months. Am staying at the ITCC dormitory at Rural Development Administration (RDA) here at Jeonju. I just wanna know if you have also a female counterpart (eg. order of the amaranth) here in korea. I’ve seen in your page that you have lots of activities done and i’m so glad…that’s freemasonry! I’m also longing to meet a mason or a wife of a mason here in korea during my stay. God bless and more power to Freemasonry!

Hi Sang Gyeong,
I sent you an email.
Hi my name is 정운형
Nice to meet you! I got your email too. I will reply to it shortly.
I have sent you an email.
Peace and Hello!
My name is Hwey Kim and am a Korean citizen.
I was wondering if you might be able to answer some questions I have about Freemasonry.
If one were to read the Abrahamic scriptures and find ‘deeper’ meaning within them, let us say that a person becomes to know the Sacred Name ( I don’t mean its pronunciation).
Let us say that one’s eyes become ‘opened’ and realize that Elihu was correct to say:
Job 33:14
For God speaks in one way, and in two, though man does not perceive it.
If one were to gain understanding in the Mysteries of God and the Godhead, and were ‘burning the midnight oil’ to separate out the Word and the Spirit to understand the various ‘aspects’ of God, whether they be of the personality or of the physical construct:
1. As a Freemason would I be helped in gaining further understanding so that I walk towards the perfection of knowledge?
2. Would I be bound by an Oath that does not let me share this knowledge with others?(whether they are cowen or other Masons)
When I looked at the writings of Albert Pike’s Morals and Dogma and some lectures of Manly P Hall (Jacob’s Ladder, Ineffable name, Warrior on the Block) I do not have much problem in understanding them, to a degree.
Could I speak openly about Michael as a Freemason?
Thank you for your time,
May IAO bless you with His name,
Hwey
Hi Hwey, thanks for your questions.
1. Personally, Freemasonry has helped me better understand the nature of God / the universe and my relation to it. Of course as Freemasons we believe that the revelation of divine truth cannot be obtained in this life. Such consummation only comes to us after we have passed through the gateway of death and stand in the court of life, with the full light of revelation upon us. But yes, we do try to point men in the right direction.
2. The only secrets Freemasons can’t share are the modes of recognition, which are easily accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Even though they really aren’t that secret, we still keep them secret because it’s a sign of being trustworthy which is one of the most important aspects of Freemasonry. The kind of knowledge you’re referring to can be shared with anyone, mason or not.
Sorry for the long reply and good luck in your search!
Thank you very much for your answers.
You are the first Freemason that has told me that information concerning the Godhead can be freely shared.
Most Freemasons who I have talked to regard this information as something that must be ‘earned’ through self purification and diligent study. ( Some say that the Angel must whisper it to you)
Some have told me that ‘most people are not ready for this type of information’ and thus the information is ‘controlled’ by God…
To separate:
1. the Right Hand and Hand, (the Mighty and the Holy)
2the Throne and the Footstool,
3 the Thunder and the Lightning,
4the Bow, Quiver and the Arrow,
5 Steadfast love and Faithfulness,
6. Righteousness and Peace
etc….
it is an arduous task.
I have found that having an understanding of the Godhead has actually made me more accepting concerning other religions and given me an understanding that Daoism, Hinduism, Egyptian,Grecian, Celtic and others all have an Understanding of the basic truth. Hermetics and alchemy are particularly interesting….
The Creator has commanded that we seek His Face and by doing that we learn about the nature of the Light of His Face. Further diligent study reveals Wisdom and the Zeal of YHWH, to me this is simply amazing.
I am at the point of trying to understand the nature of the beasts of the field and the birds of the air, but I am finding that I am hitting the limit of my understanding and thus I was thinking of reaching out for help from others..
Anyway, you are doing a worthy thing and I hope that the Creator reveals Himself to you and gives you His Name.
Peace and peace
Hwey

Umm….i have an question
women couldn’t join freemason???
fi it’s true why they couldn’t join freemason??
Women certainly can join Freemasonry! They have women only lodges and co-ed lodges as well, all over the world! It’s true that a lot of the lodges are men only, but that’s really just a historical/traditional thing. Even those lodges have auxiliary/appendant groups for women as well.
Unfortunately there’s no women Freemasons in Korea, but there are women in this country that are planning on making a women’s/co-ed lodge, once they have enough people.

However, I came back to Korea this year. And I think this is the best chance to join freemason in Korea because I just came to Korea last october.

Hello, please fill out the form above and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks!
OK I sent the form 🙂
I’m eager to be member of Korean Freemason. What is requirement for being Freemason?
I have few questions.
1. Is there huge secrets in freemason group?
2. What are freemason do when they have meeting? ( what does freemason discuss or talking about)
3. I have friend who is member of freemason but point is she is a woman and I read about freemason in this site and there is no girl in it. (But i also read there is meeting only for woman freemason.)
4. Freemason makes good man to better man. But how? By reading a bible? Talking each other?
As I said I’m eager to but I’m wondering if that effects me for good way or bad way.
I’m pretty not sure which way you receive, But there is no offense!
